Converse Chuck Taylor- I am sure you probably have a pair of these classic ne but if you don't then you're a long way from home kid. Scavenge a pair from your attic or ask someone if they have an old pair, because it’s better that it looks practically wasted. If you still can get yourself a new pair of old sneakers then buy a pair of brand new ones and bang and bash them around a little bit, the trick is to make it look oldies but goodies.
Vintage shirt- a hipster's brand of genuine hipsterism is marked by his/her vintage shirt. You can scavenge for these at any vintage clothing store or thrift store, the more vintage and retro styling, the better. You can wear shirts with logos or designs of an 80’s band like Def Leppard Depeche Mode, Scorpions and the likes; or an 80's TV show like A-Team or McGyver. Personally though, if I was to wear a vintage shirt, I’d prefer those with designs of 80’s cartoons like GI Joe, Transformers, He Man or the Smurfs….Err, scratch the last one.

Ray-bans- need I say more? Oh for crying out loud.
Linen or cotton scarf- something you can wear even during the hottest of summers, it marks the real brand of hipsterism. Preferably by the way in black and white.
Hoodies- one may not be enough, you can collect a spectrum of hoodies, different shapes and sizes, designs and colors, as long as it is a hoody. Something to wear all year round as well.
